Front-End Web Developer

At Tipping Canoe we incubate ideas that often grow up into full-blown web-apps. Most of our projects involve building and cultivating collaborative spaces for online consumer-centred communities. We think fresh, smart, user-friendly design makes a huge impact on the success of our sites. Our front-end developers work closely with our designers and our UX specialist to translate raw ideas and designs into beautifully executed reality.

We’re seeking a passionate person who is creative, talented, and fast-learning. These skills are what we’re after:

• A strong grasp of standards compliant HTML/CSS
• Extensive experience in cross-browser web development
• Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery,
  Prototype, or MooTools

• Any knowledge of XML and XSLT is a definite bonus
